In NSW, operators of a scissor lift that travels while elevated must hold a Licence to Operate an Elevating Work Platform (EWP) issued under the High Risk Work Licensing framework by SafeWork NSW. For scissor lifts that only elevate from a stationary position, a licence may not be required, but completion of EWP training is strongly recommended and often required by principal contractors. All our operators are fully trained and licenced where required.
Scissor lift operators provide stable, elevated work platforms for tasks including ceiling and ductwork installation, electrical and data cabling, painting, plastering, signage, facade maintenance, and any task requiring safe access to height in a relatively confined vertical space.
Yes. Many of our scissor lift operators are experienced in indoor environments including commercial fitouts, warehouses, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. Electric scissor lifts are commonly used indoors due to their zero emissions and compact footprint.
Yes. Scissor lifts are well suited to confined areas compared to boom lifts, and our operators are experienced in manoeuvring safely in busy indoor sites with other trades working nearby.
Yes. Every operator performs a pre-operational check before use, covering battery or fuel levels, controls, safety rails, outriggers, and ground conditions. Any issues are reported before the lift is used and the operator will not elevate until the machine is confirmed safe.
Yes. Every worker holds the tickets and licences required for their specific role, including White Card, High Risk Work Licence, RIW Card, and any other role-specific certifications. All workers are covered by workers' compensation and public liability insurance before they step on site.
We're available 24/7 and can mobilise workers at short notice for urgent requirements. For most roles, we can place workers within 24 hours. Response time may vary depending on the specific tickets or licences required for the job.
