In NSW, operators of a knuckle boom lift (also known as an articulating boom lift) must hold a Licence to Operate an Elevating Work Platform (EWP) with a boom-type endorsement, issued under the High Risk Work Licensing framework by SafeWork NSW. All our operators hold this licence and are verified before placement.
Knuckle boom lift operators provide elevated access for tasks including facade work, painting, cladding installation, electrical and mechanical services, signage installation, maintenance work, and any job requiring precise access around obstacles at height.
A knuckle boom lift has multiple jointed sections that allow the arm to bend and reach around obstacles, making it ideal for complex or confined access situations. A straight boom extends in a direct line and is better suited to reaching height over open areas. Our operators are experienced with both.
Yes. All our forklift and telehandler operators conduct thorough pre-start inspections before operating any machine, identifying faults or hazards and reporting them before work begins. Post-operational duties are also carried out at the end of each shift.
Yes. Every operator carries out a thorough pre-operational inspection of the EWP at the start of each shift, checking mechanical function, safety systems, ground conditions, and any environmental factors before elevating. Any faults are reported immediately and the machine is taken out of service until resolved.
Yes. Every worker holds the tickets and licences required for their specific role, including White Card, High Risk Work Licence, RIW Card, and any other role-specific certifications. All workers are covered by workers' compensation and public liability insurance before they step on site.
We're available 24/7 and can mobilise workers at short notice for urgent requirements. For most roles, we can place workers within 24 hours. Response time may vary depending on the specific tickets or licences required for the job.
